We had a wonderful experience at the Track Kitchen last month. My husband and I picked up breakfast to take with us and enjoy while watching morning workout. First, I cannot believe how wonderful each staff member was; so pleasant and cheerful, even at that early hour! The breakfast sandwiches were delicious, the sweet tea was a perfect start to the day, and I loved both the grits and the banana pudding. If you are at Keeneland during the off-season, make sure to stop here before heading over to the track.

Hidden Gem alert!! First off- the prices are an incredible value. My son and I stopped by early to watch the horses train and stumbled across this amazing place. The staff are so friendly and the food is exactly what you want on a crisp spring morning. They are here to provide food for the many folks of Keenland, but we were welcomed and felt right at home dining. If you are a horse aficionado or just a novice the restaurant had picture of horses and jockeys scattered on the walls and a rich history of Keenland. Don't let the nice price fool ya...this is southern cooking at its finest!!

Are you kidding me?! In 2024, you can get a quality breakfast for 3, in a clean and cozy environment, for 20? Thank you to Google Reviews for helping me find this, as another reviewer mentioned “hidden gem”! This establishment is the epitome of “hidden gem”; we almost felt like we weren’t supposed to be here, because of it being located at a race track and just seeming like it was a private cafeteria. Super friendly people, really tasty food, and the price is unbeatable. Enjoy!

Breakfast burrito, need I say more? Been conning for years and bringing my 5 children during their senior year in high school, also meet brother here once a month. Love it!!!!

This is probably the best value for breakfast in Lexington, Kentucky. You don't have to love the ponies to enjoy a nice meal at these beautiful historic grounds. The staff is super friendly and the food was spot on. On off days, if you go early enough, you may catch some horses working out on the track, a short walk from the Track Kitchen.

3/11/25 My friend and I visited Keeneland to explore their seasonal job fair and decided to stop here for lunch afterward. It was my first time, though I’d heard great things, so we tried the lunch special: roasted chicken with wild rice, steamed vegetables, and a bread roll. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous—I even had enough to take home and share with my husband. For dessert, I had the bread pudding, which my friend swore was the best around, and she was absolutely right! While the setting is more cafeteria-style, the food is outstanding—hearty, flavorful, and reasonably priced. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for some wholesome Southern cooking!

This secret gem is always a great place to fill up for less than 10 person. The food is fresh and flavorful, the service is quick and kind. Alicia hooked me up with gravy on my potatoes. I had to take pictures of other patrons' lunch because it looked too delicious to not share with my review friends. I had breakfast but cant wait to come back for lunch

The other big thoroughbred horseracing track in Lexington. We got there at 8a for 8:30a tour, watched horses working/training before the tour and during the tour. Stephanie is an excellent tour guide!
